LA CADIERE D’AZUR

Beautiful seaside station tucked at the bottom of an impressive cliff (Cap Canaille), La route des Cr tes which links Cassis La Ciotat is impressive for the whole length of the Soubeyranes cliffs. It overlooks the sea and offers a breathtaking panorama. Cassis is famous for its immense rocky inlets which majestically overlook the sea up to Marseille. Considered by amateur climbers as a major site, the rocky inlets offer all kinds of walks: from the quietest to the sportiest. 160 km of trails are signposted .
L’ILE DES EMBIEZ
Situated opposite the little port of Brusc, the island ofîEmbiez has belonged to the Paul RICARD family since 1958. This is a renowned international location for boaters, windsurfers, divers and lovers of the sea. Coves and rocky inlets, rocks carved by the sea, limpid undersea depths.
L’ILE DE PORQUEROLLES
On this piece of paradise, with paths edged with pine and eucalyptus, you’ll come across only bikes and walkers. With over 54 km of signposted trails, the island offers many possibilities to hikers, as well as walkers which take you to the lighthouse, the coastal circuits of the Notre Dame plain or the Langoustier coast.
L’ILE DE PORT CROS
L’île de Port-Cros, National Park is 30 minutes by boat from Lavandou. It can only be discovered by foot. With 30 km of signposted trails, this island will astound you, if you know where to stop and let yourself be overwhelmed by natural beauty …
LA VALLEE DE ST PONS
The beauty of the site and historical wealth of the monuments make this park a classic weekend with the family. Right from the entrance to the park, we can see the ruins of an old paper factory, irrigated by the canal. Higher up, in a meadow on the left, you can admire the chapel of St. Martin, old Parish Church of Gemenos le Vieux. Continuing to rise among the ferns, the chestnuts, the maples and cedars, you will come to face the mossy waterfall of the old mill.
LA STE BAUME
The Massif de la Sainte-Baume is a limestone wall rising more than 1100 m above sea level and develops from East to West for 14km. This impressive rocky barrier gets its name from a cave (baumo in the native language) which sheltered Saint Marie-Madeleine at the end of her life. La Sainte Baume is amongst, as are St Victoire mountain and Mont Ventoux, among the sacred mountains of Provence.
VALLON DES AUFFES

The presence of the Goudes makes no concession for its beauty. « » A rocky decor which is abrupt, immense and worn away, with sparse vegetation, but with a truly splendid deep sea for them and for the visitors, numerous restaurants and bars dress their tables with the shade from a parasol. Starting point for hikers, almost 145 km of trails are marked out in an area of savage beauty .
Tiny fjord situated at the edge of the world, Callelongue is the most set back port of Marseille and the starting point for long walks on the rocky inlets, hiding the little ports of Sormiou and Morgiou.
NOTRE DAME DE LA GARDE
After having gone up to Notre Dame de la Garde, patron of sailors,ôrising 162m above sea level, you can visit l’Estaque via the roads of C zanne or la Treille at the foot of the Pagnol columns.
From here , the castle housed numerous prisoners, real and imaginary.
